Structure of the Organisation

CYLiD is structured with the Founder as the life patron who exercises oversight responsibility over the Organization’s activities to ensure that such activities conform to the Vision and Mission behind the Organization’s formation.
Below the Life Patron is a five (5) member Board of Directors who takes overall responsibility of the running of the Organization by offering professional guidance and advice. Below the Board of Directors, is an Executive Director who acts as the Chief Executive Officer of the Organisation and is responsible for the day to day running of the organization. The Executive Director is subordinated by staff of the Organisation, comprising a Projects Coordinator, an Administrative Secretary, an Accountant, and Project Officers. In addition to its own staff, CYLiD is into mutually beneficial partnerships with other NGOs, Corporate bodies, Professional Associations and the private sector in general. The structure of the Organization is depicted by the organogram below.

Key Personnel

CYLiD undertakes the above activities through its pool of professionals from diverse backgrounds – Engineers, Planners, Sociologists, Public Relations, and Health Officers among others. CYLiD also maintains close linkages with professionals from local institutions to augment its capacity. The table below presents a summary of CYLiD permanent staff. CYLiD relates with fellow CSOs, District Assemblies, and other institutions to augment its human resource requirements.
